Thousands of Fort St. John and area residents lined 98th Street on Saturday morning, to watch the Canada Day parade – this year, due to construction on 100th Street, the parade didn’t make its usual loop, but instead travelled down from 110 Avenue to the North Peace Arena and Centennial Park where many activities were being held. In addition to the Farmers’ Market which is held every Saturday in the summer at the Festival Plaza, there were bouncy castles, face painting, music and the Classic Cruisers Show & Shine.
