Just some of the food vendors at RibFest

Mouth-watering smells wafted over Centennial Park in Fort St. John this weekend, as the annual Fort St. John Rotary RibFest took place. Three days of delicious food, including the aforementioned ribs, corn on the cob and pies from the North Peace Historical Society. Thunderstorms did threaten, but nothing had to be cancelled. For the crowd’s entertainment, there were dance performances, Tai Chi classes, and many, many bands from throughout the Peace Region. The Broken Typewriter was on site when the Mechanical Botanicals from Tumbler Ridge took the stage, and earlier when Alchemy Dance Collective performed five dances.
