Bountiful Harvest at Charlie Lake Community Garden

Some 1500 hills of potatoes were harvested at the Charlie Lake Community Garden on Saturday morning by dozens of volunteers. In addition to the Community Garden’s potatotes, there were many hills specifically planted for local Seniors.

Once the potatoes were harvested, the work wasn’t done, and volunteers then harvested 248 pumpkins from the Charlie Lake School pumpkin patch.
